Spinel Structure Material——Lithium Manganate
The most attractive and most studied cathode material in the lithium-manganese oxide series is LiMn2O4 with a spinel
structure, which belongs to the cubic crystal system and has Fd3m symmetry.
The main problems exist
Poor thermal stability of the structure and the tendency to form oxygen deficiencies, making for poor cycling
performance.
Solution:
Use Co, Ni and other elements to dope the replacement, stabilize the structure and improve the specific capacity and cycling performance.
