Yttrium Sputter Target

Yttrium has a wide range of uses in industry, it can be used as yttrium phosphor so that the TV screen produces red colour, 

but also for some ray filters, superconductors and superalloys and special glass; yttrium is resistant to high temperature and 

corrosion, and can be used as nuclear fuel casing materials; yttrium and a variety of ammonia-carboxylate with a variety of 

agents can generate stable chelates; neodymium-containing yttrium aluminium garnet is an excellent laser material, 

yttrium iron garnet is an excellent laser material, yttrium iron garnet and Yttrium aluminium garnet are new magnetic materials.

Yttrium targets are used in thin-film coating, CD-ROM, decoration, flat panel displays, functional coating, and other 

optical information storage space industries, glass coating industries such as automotive glass and architectural glass, 

and optical communications. Yttrium targets can also be used for physical vapour deposition of yttrium oxide stabilised 

zirconia layer films for IT-SOFC.
