Power Battery Cathode Material——Lithium Iron Phosphate

LiFePO4 has a high theoretical specific capacity and operating voltage, excellent safety properties, excellent cycling stability; 

suitable for low current discharge, the higher the temperature the higher the specific capacity of the material; low cost, 

environmental protection; high kinetic and thermodynamic stability of the material structure.

Problem:

Currently there is no continuous direct lithium ion channel in the LiFePO4 structure, making the ion mobility low. 

There is no continuous FeO6 octahedral network in the structure, electrons can only be conducted by a high Fe-O-Fe 

and the electron conductivity is low.

Solution:

Doping with elements such as Mg Al Ti Nb and W to artificially create structural defects to improve ion mobility and 

electron conductivity.
